How to Keep the Same Indoor Temperature in the House

How to keep the same indoor temperature in the house? This is a common question comming from heating systems’ consumers. Obviously, creating the environment, where the same temperature is achieved in all living areas of the house, sometimes might be a little challenging.Click to enlarge

Each area of the house is exposed to different conditions concerning heating losses, because of its different location in the house – windows facing different direction (north/east/west/south), rooms are located at the ground floor or second floor, 1, 2 or 3 outside walls, etc.. These factors lead to different heating energy consumption. Installing only one thermostat at lower lewel of the house – definitely will not provide with the conditions where the same temperature will be achieved in each area of the house.

The main requirement for achieving the same indoor temperature in the house – having thermostats to be installed in every room and each living area, which needs a heating system. If the thermostats appear to be programmable – the same temperature should be set up in each room at the same period of time.

If there is a goal to achieve the same thermal conditions in every room of the house, it is very important, that thermostats are not affected by such additional heat sources as direct sunlight, fireplace or appliances, which radiate signifficant amount of heat, etc..

Programmable thermostats or regular thermostats for Elpan/Wanpan skirting board heating system could be purchased localy – for the purpose to lower the price of the heating system. Programmable or regular thermostats installed in every room help to keep the same indoor temperature in each room and create the most comfortable indoor environment in the house.

Energy Efficient Elpan/Wanpan Heating System Reacts to Additional Heat Source

Energy efficient Elpan and Wanpan skirting board radiant heating systems are even more economical for heating homes or holiday cottages using new precise control thermostats.

Elpan/Wanpan ultimate skirting board radiant heating system is sensitive to additional heat source, which appears in heated area (fire place, people, sun heat, etc.)

Programable thermostat reacts to the change of 0.9 F° (0.5 C°)  temperature in the room momentarily, and shuts down the system for as long as the certain temperature remains. A significant amount of energy can be saved as well as consumer expenses reduced.

In North facing rooms a fireplace would work for the same purpose effectively and affect energy savings. In South fasing rooms it is very important to use the sun’s heat during the heating season.
