The Ultimate Heating System for Laboratories and Testing Rooms

The ultimate heating system for laboratories and testing rooms has to be very unique and sophisticated. The thermal encirclement and lowest air convection makes electric Elpan skirting board heating system irreplaceable for premises of this kind.

Air conditions, which often may be compromised in other cases, has to be precisely followed in laboratory or testing room. The most important heating requirements are easily achieved with electrical Elpan skirting board heating system.

When highly precise work of making standards is taking place, it is crucial to keep uniform temperature at all points of the laboratory. In very rare cases, the second line of modular heating panels may be necessary to be installed at the higher level of the room.

With Elpan baseboard heating system being installed in laboratory or testing room, even temperature is achieved in all levels and locations of the room. Lowest air convection is a result of the thermal encirclement which also leads to the lowest air convection as well as lowest dust level in premises.

Elpan heating system is the most unique and sophisticated ultimate heating system ever used in laboratories and testing rooms.

Energy Savings with Elpan/Wanpan

The example below indicates a direct comparison of energy consumption between a local heat source appliance (radiator) and energy efficient Elpan/Wanpan radiant baseboard heating system when used to provide the total Heat Enclosure.

COMPARISON OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION – LOCAL HEAT SOURCE AND HEAT ENCLOSURE

From laboratory and practical test experience, if either the Elpan (electric) or Wanpan (hydronic) skirting board radiant heating systems are installed in the way indicated above required energy consumption may be reduced by a factor of 0.8 against that considered necessary for local heat appliances (radiators etc).

Local heat source rated at 6kW (effect: poor, uneven heat distribution)

Heat Enclosure rated at 4.8kW (effect: uniform heat distribution)

Energy saving with Heat Enclosure 1.2 kW = 20% (0.8 factor)
