There is no cracking noise while using the Elpan/Wanpan ultimate heating system. You will find an explanation below – what is the main reason, that some customers experiencing cracking noise after they had installed skirting board heating system.
Cracking noise may appear if the blind panels of the skirting board heating system are cut not as per mounting instructions, and there is not enough room left for metal expansion while heated. If construction/installation companies are not doing the heating trial for 1/2 hours before they cut blind panels, they may have blind panels being cut too long and no distance left for metal expansion. Then the cracking sound could appear.
Blind panels have to be measured and cut not earlier than after 1/2 hour of trial heating. Even after that, leaving 2-3 mm of the distance between blind panel and heating panel is strongly suggested. It will allow metal to expand even more – silently, without making any noise.
There is no cracking noise while using Elpan/Wanpan ultimate heating system if the installation instructions of the skirting board heating system were followed completely.
