There are many times, when we come accross the situation where some baseboard heating system installation exceptions may apply. To follow the thermal encirclement principle, skirting board heating system needs to be installed on all 4 walls, around the perimeter of room. In addition, for the purpose to cover very high heat loses, heating panels may be installed in two rows – one above each other, in a distance of choise. One wall with windows or even two outside walls, where the highest heat losses are more likely to appear, are chosen.

In rare cases, when there is no need to install Elpan/Wanpan skirting board heating on 4 walls, baseboard heating panels could be mounted on 3 walls only. It is an extraordinary exception and it applies exclusively for premises with extremly good insullation and low heating losses. Corridors or small opened areas, located inside of the house and surrounded by other well heated areas, may not need a heating system to be entirelly installed there.

Being aware of these Elpan/Wanpan baseboard heating system installation exceptions, everybody has to consult with heating proffesional and in no case make their own decissions of where the heating panels do not have to be installed or which areas could be left without the heating.
