Elpan electric skirting board heating system is a complete heating system with modules for connection to 220-240 volt supply. 
Heating panels of Elpan baseboard heating system are made from polyester-coated Steel Plates. All metal components are treated with iron phosphate to protect against rust.
The Elpan modular heating panels are are joined by pushing them together, just like puting in a plug. Electric sockets can be fitted onto blind panels, which keeps walls completely clear of cables.

Wanpan heating panels are only 25 mm thick and are available in the following module sizes: 24x36x400 mm, 24x136x600 mm, 24x136x800 mm
and the same intervals, up to 24x136x3000 mm or 24x136x3200 mm.

Elpan/Wanpan baseboard heating – no heating losses through the walls. One of the main goals of producers, installers and users – to keep heating system operating the

There are no limitations or any kind of requirements or recommendations for using specific type of flooring when Elpan/Wanpan skirting board radiant heating system is going to
be installed. Skirting board heating system does not heat floor from bellow and flooring is not affected by higher temperatures.
Infloor radiant heating system may not be recommended to be installed if you are planning to have wood floor, because of wood heat resistance, which is very high. When radiant infloor heating system is chosen as the type of heating with wood floor, energy consumption of the house is expected to be much higher. In addition to high energy consumption, more rapid change of heating temperature is affecting wood floor shape as well as quality of the flooring.
Marble tiles or synthetic flooring could be the only choices at this point. Many companies are providing customers with informative and useful instructions for synthetic flooring. Besides, consumers need to be aware of the fact, that higher temperatures may cause unhealthy release of chemicals from synthetic flooring at least for the first few days of heating premises.

There is no cracking noise while using the Elpan/Wanpan ultimate heating system. You will find an explanation below – what is the main reason, that some customers experiencing cracking noise after they had installed skirting board heating system.
Cracking noise may appear if the blind panels of the skirting board heating system are cut not as per mounting instructions, and there is not enough room left for metal expansion while heated. If construction/installation companies are not doing the heating trial for 1/2 hours before they cut blind panels, they may have blind panels being cut too long and no distance left for metal expansion. Then the cracking sound could appear.
Blind panels have to be measured and cut not earlier than after 1/2 hour of trial heating. Even after that, leaving 2-3 mm of the distance between blind panel and heating panel is strongly suggested. It will allow metal to expand even more – silently, without making any noise.
There is no cracking noise while using Elpan/Wanpan ultimate heating system if the installation instructions of the skirting board heating system were followed completely.
